Nubya Garcia hits the road with her second album Odyssey. Catch the jazz sensation at Aviva Studios as part of her UK and Europe tour.
Nubya Garcia is one of the hottest names in contemporary jazz. A saxophonist, composer and bandleader, she is part of a new wave of talent to emerge on the London jazz scene in recent years.
In 2020, she released her debut album Source to widespread critical acclaim, earning a Mercury Prize nomination. In 2022, she toured the UK and US, performed at festivals including Glastonbury, and supported Khruangbin on their sold-out US tour. Now she returns with Odyssey – a masterful blend of orchestral arrangements, R&B, jazz, broken beat and dub, and her most personal work yet.
Nubya Garcia will be joined onstage by her band, which features Lyle Barton on keys, Daniel Casimir on double bass and Sam Jones on drums.
